As we entered 2022 this global manufacturing organisation was looking to move away from their outsourced IT model. After supporting them to hire the Head of IT the next person in had to provide a great deal of flexibility and be able to take on a number of new challenges as they gradually moved away from their service contracts. In addition the future team that will be recruited would report into this individual so the successful candidate had to be happy to take a small step back for a few months with the promise of greater things to come as they look to grow the team.
After partnering closely with the hiring manager to understand the type of personality he wanted to hire into his team we set about conducting multiple Teams interviews before shortlisting our final three candidates, two of whom made the final interview, one of which duly accepted the offer to join the company and be part of the exciting journey
